Unlike dictation software or transcription services that cost your practice money each month, our software can actually earn your practice income through decreased dictation time, fewer billing denials and avoidance of MIPS penalties. In short, this software should be generating income and/or free time for your radiologists at a minimum of 16 times the monthly license fee. This is by design and calculated in detail below.
rScriptor pricing is based upon the number of radiologists in your practice actually using the software in a particular month. If a radiologist in your practice is not using the software then your practice is not billed for that radiologist.
But how much can your practice really save with rScriptor? Here is an easy way to calculate the potential savings for your practice:
Potential increases in reimbursement, time savings and avoidance of penalties is between 12% and 26%. Does that seem unrealistic? A recent rScriptor implementation at a large radiology practice resulted in an actual decline in billing denials of 74.4%.
Using a recent radiologist compensation survey and adding 30% for radiology practice overhead, the potential monthly savings per radiologist is between $4000 and $9000.
Worst case scenerio the per-radiologist savings each month is 16x the most expensive license fee below.
For most radiology practices, the correct coding and billing of only a handful of cases more than covers the monthly license fee. Why not try rScriptor for a few months and see for yourself? There is no cost to try it and rScriptor is very easy to install and use. Contact us at sales@scriptorsoftware.com to arrange for a demo and free trial.
rScriptor is very easy to use and most radiologists require an hour or less of training before using the software for the first time. There are short tutorials and a user manual to assist in training. Most radiologists prefer to go through the short tutorials on their own but also available to your practice is up to 5 hours of one-on-one training via WebEx or equivalent software if needed.
Support is provided via email or phone. Support encompasses all aspects of the software including modifying report templates, requests for additional functionality and any other issues that may come up with use of the software. Support is typically provided to the IT staff and/or radiologist "super users" who will then support the other radiologists in the practice.
Regular updates are included in the license fee at no additional cost. These updates typically add new functionality to the software and are downloaded automatically. rScriptor is continually updated to reflect changes in reimbursement and government regulatory agency requirements so that your radiologists can focus on reading films and caring for patients rather than on documentation and paperwork.
